2013 Winter, New Year’s and Valentine’s Specials

December 9th, 2012 by Sam Feldman

Well, it’s finally starting to wind down, the hustle and bustle, the concerts and car weekends, Bikes, Blues and BBQ – you name it, Eureka Springs has it. But there’s a special season not many folks know about – the “secret season”. That’s the one where there aren’t tons of people here and lots of noise from the many visitors. It’s the one where you can just enjoy some down time, reading a book, working a jigsaw puzzle, playing games with your best friend, watching a movie while chowing down on some popcorn, but you get somebody else to cook for you and clean up after you – it’s the off season! Eureka is still very much open in the off-season, which is mid-December through mid-March. There are a few restaurants that do close for an extended period, but those are few. We have so many restaurants here for a town of 2200 that there is always somewhere good to eat. Shops are open and the town is still one of the loveliest to walk around in. Our winter’s are mild, so the chance of getting stuck here due to snow is unlikely (and ice even less likely!) so there’s no excuse -

PLUS

we’re offering a great winter discount this year! Book one night with us Sunday through Thursday and you get one night free! If you want to come over the weekend, book one night and you can get the second night for 50% off! That does include all our amenities and our usual full-size breakfast and afternoon treats, so there’s really no reason to look elsewhere, we’ve got it all! (Not good for New Year’s or Valentine’s – see those specials below!)

Yes, we do have special deals for New Year’s and Valentine’s this year, since they both fall mid-week. For New Year’s, stay three nights, including New Year’s Eve, and receive one of those three nights for free! Plus we are providing a complimentary bottle of champagne in each room on New Year’s to ring in 2013.

For Valentine’s Day, stay 3 nights (2/14, 2/15 & 2/16) and receive the 3rd night free! A complimentary box of locally-made chocolates will be waiting for you in your room as well.

So come join us – soak in a Jacuzzi, have a picnic in front of the fire with your loved one or just nap – all the things you wish you had time for during the summer months but never seem to happen you can make time for now, you just have to get away from all those obligations. Come stay at the Bridgeford House and enjoy some peace.

Warmest regards,

Jeff and Nadara (Sam) Feldman – and Sophie, too!

Charity Begins in Eureka Springs!

May 15th, 2011 by Sam Feldman

We belong to a wonderful group of local B&Bs, called Bed and Breakfast Inns of Eureka Springs, and we are all featuring an awesome opportunity this summer to give back to the community. Starting July 18th and ending August 31st, come stay at our Arkansas bed and breakfast for a two-night Sunday-Thursday stay and you can purchase the 1st night at regular rate and get the second night free – by writing a $35 check (or more, if you like!) to ECHO (Eureka Christian Health Outreach). ECHO is Eureka’s free health care clinic for uninsured, low-income individuals and provides incredible care to these folks in need. The ECHO Clinic has been featured on Oprah, in People magazine, and on ABC News’ “Spirit of America” series.

Dr. Oz with founders Suzie and Dan Bell

Another opportunity to give to ECHO is our annual Sweet Treats Cookie Tour (this year on Saturday, December 10th, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.) where a percentage of the proceeds also go to ECHO.

We know that not everyone takes the time to give as they’d like, so here’s an easy way to do just that while enjoying some downtime in Eureka Springs. Come enjoy the beauty and selflessness that is Eureka Springs.

Warmest regards,

Jeff and Nadara (Sam) Feldman – and Sophie, too!

Winter Specials in Eureka Springs

January 9th, 2011 by Sam Feldman

While Eureka Springs is very quiet in the winter time (which we personally enjoy!), we do miss having guests to talk to, so we wanted to make sure folks would still like to come visit. So book any two nights Sunday – Thursday from now through March 31st (excluding February 13th & 14th and spring break, March 13th – 17th) and you can take an extra $15 off our already low winter rates! Winter rates are already $20-30 off seasonal rates, so this is a big deal! That makes a range of $80 – $134 a night, depending on the room. If you add a 3rd night, we’ll buy you lunch downtown!

Cozy Inside

Remember, there is still plenty to do around town: shops that are open, restaurants still serving wonderful food, spas open for massages and facials, ghost tours at the Crescent, van tours around town, horse-drawn carriage rides with wonderful historic commentary, lots of music in our quaint little bars downtown, art galleries open, the Historic Museum downtown with tons of history awaiting discovery, the Stonehouse Wine Bar (especially cozy inside), Judge Roy Bean’s Old Time Photos, Keel’s Creek Winery and wonderful Turpentine Creek Big Cat Refuge, where the big cats are especially active in the colder temps.

"Please come see me!"

Come see us!

Warmest regards,

Jeff and Nadara (Sam) Feldman – and Sophie, too!

New Mid-Week Pricing for our Arkansas Bed & Breakfast

August 14th, 2009 by Sam Feldman

As the end of the summer approaches, we have decided it’s a good time to look at offering mid-week discounts. Here at the Bridgeford House B & B,  Sundays and Thursdays are now $10 off the regular rate and staying a Monday, Tuesday and/or Wednesday will save you $20 to $30 off a room per night, depending on the room! Mid-week is a great time to come see Eureka Springs:  less traffic, less people. It’s the quiet peacefulness of Eureka that those of us that are blessed to live here get to experience.

There is still plenty to do during the week. The Great Passion Play is open every night except Sunday and Wednesday, the Pine Mountain Jamboree has a show every night except Sunday and the Ozark Mountain Hoedown is closed only on Tuesday nights. So no matter what night you are here, there’s always something going on! We are happy to make any show reservations for you and they are all wonderful!

We are having such a good time this summer with all our wonderful guests that have come visiting. Some of them have been with us many times and we always enjoy them coming back. Whatever you need to make your getaway special, please let us know! And we hope by saving you money with mid-week specials will be a good place to start!

Warmest regards,

Sam and Jeff (and Sophie, of course!)
