Eureka Springs Blues Weekend 2013

May 29th, 2013 by Sam Feldman

We’re just a few weeks away from the annual Eureka Springs Blues Weekend, one of the most popular music festivals in beautiful Eureka Springs, AR. Top headliners are Eugene “Hideaway” Bridges, The Nighthawks, Chicago Blues Revue, Leah and the Mojo Doctors and EG Kight. And that’s just a few that are at the auditorium – there are 63 performances over the four-day period of the festival, June 13-16. Venues exist all over the city, including a lot outside in our wonderful historic Basin Park – for free!

The town will be rowdy and wild, but that’s so much a part of the fun! Down here at the Bridgeford House Bed and Breakfast, it’s much quieter, but it’s still a very easy walk to downtown and all the music. No security worries after dark, either, so come see us!

Warmest regards,

Jeff and Nadara (Sam) Feldman – and Sophie, too!

Eureka Springs Blues Weekend 2012

April 22nd, 2012 by Sam Feldman

Mark your calendars for May 31, June 1, 2 and 3 and make plans to come to Eureka Springs, Arkansas, for one of the biggests music festivals in the south! The Eureka Springs Blues Weekend packs a wallop of great Blues, throughout the entire 4 days of the festival. Headliners this year include:  Ruthie Foster, Kenny Neal and Tommy Castro. And that’s only a small portion of the artists that will grace our fair city! For those of you that have been to our Blues weekends before, you know there are plenty of music venues and styles to pick from. There are some main shows at the Aud and there are lots of shows in our little bars throughout town and even outdoors at the Basin Park right downtown. And a large majority of these are FREE!

See past headliner Elvin Bishop:

One of our local favorites, Brick Fields, will be playing at the New Delhi Cafe and is worth the trip just for themselves:

They’re here every weekend and then some, so if you can’t make it to Blues Weekend, come any other time to hear this great band!

We do still have rooms available here at our B and B, Bridgeford House Bed & Breakfast, and yes – you can walk to just about every venue downtown from here! When you’re ready to leave all the music and noise behind, we’ll be waiting for you in our quiet little area on Spring St., so you get the best of both worlds.

Call and book as soon as you can, because we do expect these rooms to fill up. This is also the only weekend of the year that we require a 3-night minimum, because you really need to stay for the whole thing – seriously!

Warmest regards,

Jeff and Nadara (Sam) Feldman – and Sophie, too!
