Eureka Springs Bluesfest Weekend is Almost Here!

March 21st, 2011 by Sam Feldman

June 2, 3, 4 & 5th is the date – Eureka Springs is the place! Bluesfest weekend comes around every year and we love it! Besides being an awesome gathering of blues artists, this festival benefits one of our favorite things in town, Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge. It also benefits the HART fund, which is for musicians and their families in financial need from health issues.

Every year incomparable blues musicians come to town and there is music in every venue and on every corner. This year’s headliners include Coco Montoya and Elvin Bishop, who will be playing at the Auditorium. Many other names that will be appearing all over town include Rose Ledet, Little Joe McLerran, Buddy Shute and many more! On a beautiful spring weekend, you’ll hear fantastic music all weekend long at the Basin Park downtown – for free!

Free music outdoors, all weekend!

We really are a perfect location, within an easy 10 minute walk to all the main venues. But when you’re ready for some peace and quiet, head back “home” to us at the B&B, because we’re away from the maddening crowd!

Most lodging in Eureka Springs has a 3-day minimum that weekend and they fill up fast. We do still have a couple of rooms left ourselves, but they won’t last long. No matter where you stay, make sure that you add the Bluesfest weekend in Eureka Springs to your bucket list – it will be a weekend you’ll not long forget!

Warmest regards,

Jeff and Nadara (Sam) Feldman – and Sophie, too!

Eureka Springs 23rd Annual May Festival of the Arts

May 3rd, 2010 by Sam Feldman

May is my favorite time of the year in Eureka Springs! The weather is wonderful – not cold and not too hot – trees are green and tour gardens are in bloom (and there are gardens everywhere!), music is in Basin Park every day, there are incredible art gallery strolls and fun parades, famous authors, and this year for the first time, the town will be beautifully decorated during our very first Grand Illumination festival! (FYI, for those that don’t know – any guests staying at the Bridgeford House Bed & Breakfast the weekend of May 14th & 15th will be invited to our Grand Illumination patio party on Saturday, the 15th – food and beverages are complimentary to all our guests!)

The May Festival of the Arts is an incredible time to visit beautiful Eureka Springs. Just a few of the things recapped:

  • Free music daily in Basin Spring Park
  • Saturday Gallery Strolls
  • Invitational art show at the new Queen Anne Mansion
  • Ozarks Chorale performance
  • Art in the Park
  • Grand Illumination
  • Books in Bloom Literary Festival
  • ArtCar parade
  • White Street Studio Walk
  • Spring Garden Tour
  • A Taste of Art
  • Bluesfest weekend
  • And so much more!

Eureka is open!

Warmest regards,

Jeff and Nadara (Sam) Feldman – and Sophie, too
