In early March, Randall and Dawayne George (otherwise known as P-Nutt and Ponytail) are selling the Ozark Mountain HoeDown Music Theater to Larry Reitz, who also owns Cinnamon Valley Resort, located next door to the theater.
Ozark Mountain Hoedown
The George Brothers, who have been living and performing quality entertainment in Eureka Springs, AR, for 20 years, have signed a record contract with Way Out West Records to begin the next phase of their musical careers. They have been on the road a lot during the off-season already, so will continue to do so. It is hoped that they may come back to the Ozark Mountain Hoedown for scheduled appearances from time to time.
The new headliner for the new Ozark Mountain Hoedown will be Carl Acuff, Jr., 2011 ORAE Entertainer of the Year and 2011 Male Vocalist of the Year, and 2013 ORAE Male Vocalist of the Year nominee. He will open the show April 4th and run shows through October, providing musical entertainment that includes new and old Country, Gospel, Comedy, Nostalgic Rock N Roll, Motown, Do Wap, Disco, audience participation, impersonations and a salute to all of our men and women in uniform from past, present and future.
Join us in congratulating the George Brothers on their new record deal and best wishes for their exciting future (but we sure will miss them!). And join us in welcoming new talent in Eureka Springs and an exciting new show!
And come stay with us, we’ll make sure you get to the show!
Jeff and Nadara (Sam) Feldman – and Sophie and Fiona, too!
