Weddings at the Bridgeford House

March 28th, 2010 by Sam Feldman

Simply put, we love to do weddings. We may not be able to do the large weddings that Thorncrown Chapel or the Crescent Hotel can do, but we can do them special. If it’s just you and your soul mate, or if you have just a few friends and family that would like to join you on your special day, please come tie the knot here at the Bridgeford House Bed and Breakfast.

We have a lovely stone sunken garden where we do the majority of our weddings. Trickling waterfalls between goldfish ponds adds to the music, an abundance of flowers and ferns adds to your bridal bouquet, and the ease and loveliness of our special ceremonies will create memories that will last forever.

We happily add champagne or sparkling juice, and a lovely (and scrumptious) wedding cake for a small, intimate reception. Bridal flowers and groom boutonnieres can be provided, plus additional package items can be added if you choose to spend your honeymoon here as well, to make your special day unforgettable.

In the off-season, we really look forward to helping couples start their lives together – it lets sunshine into the cold season! We have a lovely Victorian parlor that provides a cozy, historic atmosphere to your nuptials.

Traditional wedding music is available and we can supply a professional photographer for a small fee or will take photos with your camera for free.

Whatever season you choose, how ever many loved ones join you, or if it’s just an intimate wedding for the two of you, we simply love to do weddings.

Warmest regards,

Jeff and Nadara (Sam) Feldman – and Sophie, too!

Save With Packages

Here at the 1884 Bridgeford House Bed and Breakfast Inn, we love to see folks have a good time and relax. We’ve put together some great packages for our guests, so that when they come, everything will already be taken care of. From wedding packages to escape packages to the Passion Play package, we have a package in place that is sure to please. We will also happily customize a package for you if you prefer!

A favorite package is our Chill Out Girls’ Getaway package. With lunch out in the historic downtown, trolley tickets to get there, the “Full Radiance” spa treatment at the incredible New Moon Spa at the historic Crescent Hotel (1 hour massage, pure focus facial massage, hand and foot treatment), a chilled bottle of champagne and decadent chocolate basket waiting for you back in your room, our getaway for you will have you feeling like a queen.

Or try our most recent addition to our customized packages – our “Just Inn Time” Babymoon package. Take a little time for yourselves before that newbie arrives. Dinner out for two would be a choice of some of the best restaurants in town, Rogue’s Manor, the Grand Tavern at the Grand Central Hotel, Casa Colina, Ermilio’s or DeVito’s Italian. We have trolley tickets for you to explore so the mother-to-be doesn’t have to walk, a one-hour special pregnancy massage for her in your room, a photo session for her (we’ll send you home with framed photos of her most beautiful glow), and last but not least – chocolate-covered strawberries – better ask her first is she will share!

We do many weddings in Eureka Springs, the wedding capital of the south. Our most popular wedding package is the Victoria’s package, which comes with lodging and the wedding (setting, minister, flowers for the bride), plus cake and champagne. And since you will spend a couple days with us on your honeymoon, that needs to be special, too – so have a special dinner out, lunch in the historic downtown, a romantic carriage ride, two 1-hour massages together, and a keepsake to take home with you to always remind you of your special day – a matted color line drawing of the Bridgeford House, suitable for framing and hanging in your new home.

And we even have more! Be sure to ask us about our packages or view them online on our packages page – we’d love to have you come visit us!

Warmest regards,

Sam and Jeff (and Sophie, of course!)
